Children's Sunday School during the school year
Adult Information Classes - Wednesdays
3rd grade Bible program (each fall)

The Prayer Chain:
This is a vital ministry at Monona as we support one another and our families and friends in prayer. Prayer concerns are given and sent along in a telephone chain.
Vacation Bible School:
This takes place each summer for study, games, music, food and fun for children pre-K - 6th grade.
Food Pantry:
Items are collected and taken to the St. Stephens food bank to help reach out to our community and its needs.
Advent and Christmas:
In addition to the special worship during Advent and the Christmas season, we gather for Christmas Caroling, church decorating, and many more Christmas activities.
Lent and Easter:
At Monona, we have mid-week Lenten services (with a light supper, a prayer vigil, a pancake breakfast and much more...all leads to the best time of the year to be in church... to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
TLC (Tender Loving Care) Groups:
More than a Bible study it is all about people taking care of people in real physical and spiritual ways. We kick off each fall and close for the summer in June with an "All Are Welcome BBQ" at a comfortable home.
A Healing Service:
This is offered the second Sunday each month. In light of James 5:14-15 it offers our members a place to come with a hurt, illness, or sickness and commend it to our Lord in prayer.
Book Club:
Join us each month for a discussion of an inspirational selection. Call the church office for time and location.
J.O.Y. Club:
Our senior fellowship group gets together every few months for bus trips to visit regional attractions.
LWML:
The women of Monona are a supporting society of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. The LWML is the official women's society of the LCMS, supporting missions in the US and abroad. Visit the South Wisconsin District LWML Website at www.swd-lwml.org to learn more.
Quilting:
Quilters meet the first and third Thursdays each month at 9 a.m. to work on quilts for the Orphan Grain Train and other needs.

Loving and Losing is a Bible study for those that have lost a loved one - especially widows and widowers. Through the timeless lens of Scripture, we will find comfort and hope as we focus on these relevant issues:
- Loving and Losing
- Coping Skills
- Individual Grieving Processes
- Developing an Attitude of Appreciation
- Giving Back
- Living On, Loving On
Our hope to speak and share words of comfort to people who walk this path until we are all gathered up around the throne of the Lamb. This is your opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences with others who also walk with you on this path within this group.
Remember, God, “who comforts us in all our troubles, [comforts us] so we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
(1 Corinthians 1:4)
This is why we are gathering. Let’s take advantage of what our Lord offers.
Hope to see you there!
Your servant in Christ,
Pastor Nowak
Meets the 2nd Monday of each
month at 1 pm
